Here we talking about a game whose predecessor won the best graphics award in the PlayStation 3 category by IGN, leaving behind Activision’s Call of Duty: Black OPS-2. Release date for the sixth installation of Assassin’s Creed is fixed on 29th October in North America and 1st of November 2013 in Europe. This sixth major edition of Assassin’s Creed is named as “Black Flags” which includes 50 locations from three main cities, namely Nassu (under Pirate influence), Havana (influenced by Spain) and Kingston (under English influence) with 60/40 balance between naval and land exploration.

Directed by Ashraf Ismail and Jean Guesdon, “Assassin’s Creed: Black Flags” features an unrestricted open-world feel with less scripted events, in which gamers will have a control over “Edward Kenway” and “Haytham Kenway”. Stealth, hunt and harpoon in the water could be done more easily now. New in “Black Flags” is the ship which will be controlled by Captain Jackdaw to fight off the enemy ship, who could be upgraded throughout the game and a spyglass from which distant ships can be examined easily.

Plot is set in the year 1715 where Pirates has full control over Caribbean with a brutal lawless pirate republic. Entire story revolves around cruel Captain “Edward Kenway” who fell into an accident which draw him into war, that in return may lead to the depletion of everything  that Pirates have conquered till now. Other important characters in this game are Edward “Blackbeard” Teach, Benjamin Hornigold, Anne Bonny, Jack Rackham and Charles Vane. Use of spy-glass, pillage to upgrade Captain Jackdaw with ammunition, ship, exciting locations (those forts, villages and forests) and the level of action and adventure in an unrestricted open world are the most attractive features of this upcoming 3rd person video game.

Edward Kenway, Harpoon

Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, “Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag” runs on AnvilNext engine (similar to Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation and Assassin’s Creed 3: Brotherhood) and will be launched for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 4. Although the release of the PlayStation 4 version is not yet decided, but “Black Flags” is one of the first games that will be released on PlayStation 4.
