Its 60fps this time! Yes, the successor of Nikon D4 is capable of recording videos at 60fps. With a great ergonomics, the Nikon D4S is for the photojournalists and for filmmakers. With its new Expeed 4 processor & ISO sensitivity that doubled the bar set by its predecessor, the new Nikon D4S is a force to be reckoned with.

The photographers going mad over the new D4 upgrade. D4S has an ISO range of 100-25,600 with an expanded sensitivity of 409,600, which is double than D4, giving more exposure range. There’s nothing to discuss about the image quality, it’s exceptionally great! But, still-photography is not the center of attraction in this highly advance digital camera. It would not be wrong if said D4S is a dedicated video recording machine. It is capable of recording almost every detail in a video.

Nikon D4S runs on a 16.6 Megapixel CMOS sensor and it is compatible with all AF NIKKOR lenses, AI-P NIKKOR lenses and non-CPU AI lenses. The camera features dedicated ports for the headphones and boom microphone makes this camera convenient for video shooting. The camera has an exposure time between 1/8000s and 30s.

Bionz X image processor of Sony Alpha 7R is of no match with D4S’s Expeed sensor which indicates improved contrast detection, autofocus and further reduced power consumption. But somehow, the Sony Alpha 7R which is priced one-third of Nikon 4DS offers better value for money than 4DS and Canon DSLR.
