Asus gadgets are going to rule the market in late 2013. Where every leading PC manufacturing are eager to showcase Intel 4th generation core processor into their products, Asus has announced about their multiple gadgets to be launched this year. However, Asus going to face tough competition from Acer as Acer announced about world’s first 8-inch Windows 8 tablet named W3.

Here we are talking about one of the sleekest All-in-one PC named Asus Transformer AIO P1801. All together a different design for which Asus is known for, Asus AiO sports a detachable display, which is actually a colossal 18.4 inch Anroid tablet. This gadget features two units, the detachable display and the PC station, as Asus calls. PC station is in actual the arrangement of this tablet so that it can be used as a desktop PC (PC station is also comprised of 3W Speakers). Powered by Intel® Core™ i3-3220 processors clocked at 3.3GHz, this tablet comes with 4GB DDR3 RAM with Nvidia GeForce GT 730M discrete graphics. A 500 Gb Hard Drive for your digital data, Asus AiO has four ports of USB 3.0. Other peripheral slots include a miniUSB port, a microSD card slot, a 3.5mm headset jack and a jack for power adapter. The keyboard and the optical mouse which comes with this tablet also possess a unique design.  The keys are well separated and soft, keyboard gives island type of look with minimal area around the border. Mouse is no less as well; it has three buttons which are touch sensitive with a scroll pad.

When talking in detail about the graphics technology incorporated in this tablet, it is Nvidia Tegra 3 SoC featuring a quad-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz. Anroid 4.1.1 with Jelly Bean user interface; in the OS section.

Now, coming to the most interesting part of this All-IN-One PC, which is the switching between Anroid and Windows 8. When docked to PC station, you are actually using a desktop PC running on Windows 8, when undocked, you are using a tablet with Anroid; however you can always use blue-button to switch between two Operating Systems.

After-all it is not an actual desktop PC. Tablet hangs in situation of over multi-tasking which you never expect in a PC having same configurations. There is no Nvidia Optimus technology for longer battery life; nothing new in the Wi-fi and the Bluetooth section as well. Nvidia GeForce GT 730M provides a good gaming experience even for heavy games but at low settings.
